What Love Really Means

Biblical love isn’t just emotion or romance.

It’s sacrifice in action — choosing others before yourself, even when it costs something.
It’s forgiving when the world says walk away.
It’s serving when no one is watching.
It’s living like Jesus, who gave everything for us.Love is the foundation of every other fruit — without it, joy is shallow, peace is fleeting, and kindness has no root.

Founder’s Story (Jeremy’s Experience)

"When my first marriage fell apart, I thought love had failed me. I was broken, bitter, and done with trust. But God wasn’t finished. He brought Sarah into my life in a way I couldn’t deny was His hand — from a chance meeting at an event to an ‘accidental’ breakfast encounter that felt scripted by heaven. Through her patience, loyalty, and kindness, I began to understand what real love looks like: love that isn’t based on convenience, but on sacrifice. Today, with Sarah and our two children, I see God’s love reflected daily in the quiet, ordinary moments. Love is not just a word. It’s the strongest armor God gives us."

Real-World Application

Here are 3 ways to live out the Fruit of Love this week:

  1. Choose to forgive someone instead of holding onto offense.
  2. Serve quietly — do something for a friend, coworker, or stranger without expecting recognition.
  3. Speak life — send an encouraging text to someone God places on your heart.

Reflection Question:
Who in your life is hard to love right now? What would it look like to love them as Jesus loves you?

Prayer Starter:
Lord, help me love beyond words. Teach me to love in patience, in kindness, in sacrifice. Let others see Your love through me today.
