Fruit of the Spirit: Goodness
“Goodness isn’t perfection — it’s integrity lived out.”
Scripture Spotlight
- Galatians 5:22–23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
- Romans 12:21 – “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
- 2 Thessalonians 1:11 – “We constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.”

What Goodness Really Means
Goodness is not about being flawless — it’s about living with integrity.
It’s doing what is right when no one is looking.
It’s choosing honesty, compassion, and truth over shortcuts, lies, or compromise.
The Spirit grows goodness in us so we reflect God’s character in every corner of our lives — family, work, friendships, and even in how we treat strangers.
Founder’s Story (Jeremy’s Experience)
"For years, I lived in a way that looked good on the outside — traveling, shooting for big brands, chasing the dream. But inside, I was broken, and I often chose what was convenient over what was good.
When God gave me a second chance through Sarah and our family, I realized that true goodness isn’t about appearances — it’s about character. It’s being the same person in private that you are in public.
Quiet Armor was born out of that shift — a desire to stop chasing the world’s idea of success and instead walk in the goodness that comes from God. I don’t always get it perfect, but I try to let my integrity and faith guide every step."

Real-World Application
Here are 3 ways to live out the Fruit of Goodness this week:
- Do the right thing even if it costs you — choose integrity over convenience.
- Stand against negativity — when gossip or slander shows up, respond with truth and grace.
- Be generous — give to someone in need without expecting anything in return.
Reflection Question:
Where in your life are you tempted to cut corners? How can you choose integrity instead?
Prayer Starter:
Lord, help me walk in Your goodness. Let my actions reflect Your heart and show the world what true integrity looks like.
